On his own behalf and on behalf of all members of the university community, the Rector of the University, Prof. Kheir GUECHI, extends his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Abdelrazak Belakrouz, from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif 2 University, on the occasion of his being awarded the Arab Book Award in Doha, Qatar, February 2025 edition.

We wish him continued excellence, success, and academic distinction.

The national conference titled "The Future of Human Security in the Era of Artificial Intelligence Technologies", organized by the Department of Media and Communication of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in coordination with the House of Artificial Intelligence, concluded today.

The event was officially opened by the Rector of the University, Prof. Kheir GUECHI, and witnessed broad participation from university educators, scholars from other national universities, and PhD students. The conference also saw a significant turnout from faculty members and students across various academic levels.

On Monday, February 3, 2025, the University Board of Directors convened under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. LATRACH Mohamed El-Hadi, Rector of Setif 1 University, in the presence of Professor Dr. GUECHI El-Kheir, University Setif 2 Rector, along with the esteemed members of the Board. The meeting addressed, discussed, and approved the items on the agenda. In this context, the Board approved the university's budget for the year 2025, as well as the proposal to establish a subsidiary entity of an economic nature named "University Business Accelerator", which will operate under the university’s business incubator.

Professor GUECHI El-Kheir, Rector of the University, extends his sincere congratulations to the esteemed faculty members who have been promoted during the 6th session to the rank of Senior Lecturer A for the 2024–2025 academic year. He wishes them continued success and further academic and scientific achievements.
